I found the old notes I’d mentioned, for a Samurai!Toa team and their weapons. I did try to find similar authentic likenesses to their existing weapons but made it a bit more thoughtful and personalized.

BAIONIKURU - バイオニクル

First, Tahu: Nagamaki (a long-handled-sword. I imagine he’d have forged it himself with plenty of personal flair.)

Pohatu: Ōtsuchi (a war mallet - used for breaking down doors but I like to think Pohatu’d love using it for big carvings and Kohlii)

Onua: Tekko (like brass knuckles, but with a handle instead of finger holes. could be spikes or metal stubs, which I could see him using either)

Gali: Kama (sickles, like small scythes. Also used for agriculture, but as a weapon was just as much for defense/disarmament as attacks, which I tend to think Gali would protect/disarm rather than harm whenever possible.)

Lewa: Ono (Used for weaponry as often as agricultural use. I envisioned a small war-axe with a peen - hey! grow up! )

Kopaka: Tsurugi (a double-edged blade I’d imagine he’d have very jagged, so he could climb ice walls as easily as cut through things.)
